Technology has significant potential to enhance cancer prevention, care, and research, but this potential has not yet been realized. In this report, the President’s Cancer Panel presents critical actions that should be taken to advance connected health for cancer by ensuring that technologies are developed and used in ways that enhance access to health information, support patient-centered cancer care and patient engagement, enhance the experience of the oncology workforce in providing care, and accelerate progress in cancer research.
